The word “Hyundai,” translating to "Modern" in Korean, aligns perfectly with the brand's forward-thinking ethos encapsulated in the mantra, “New Thinking. New Possibilities.” This spirit of innovation has propelled Hyundai Motor to monumental success, positioning it as the fifth largest vehicle manufacturer globally with an ambitious target of five million sales in 2015. Their Ulsan production plant stands as a testament to this growth, boasting the title of the world's largest automotive manufacturing facility, with the capacity to produce over 1.5 million vehicles annually.

Hyundai is a leader in autonomous driving and connectivity technologies, it's actually one of Suzie's favorite features in her Palisade! Hyundai's N brand offers high-performance cars that use technology and experience gained from motorsports. We love that Hyundai offers a wide selection of vehicles, including hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs.  Hyundai has a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and reliability. They are becoming more and more know for offering high-quality vehicles at reasonable prices.  Hyundai vehicles have a sleek, fluid design that helps them stand out. It's great that  Hyundai supports cancer research and other philanthropic causes. 

 

With such an extensive portfolio, Hyundai has ensured that there is a vehicle designed for nearly every scenario—even the unlikely dawn of a zombie apocalypse! In a unique collaboration with the creators of the hit comic series and TV show “The Walking Dead,” Hyundai has unveiled a series of Zombie Survival Machines, showcasing their versatility and imaginative branding. The brand’s vehicles have also made their mark in popular culture, gracing screens on Netflix, with the Hyundai Genesis being driven by the notorious KingPin in the final moments of "Daredevil."

 

Pioneering the push towards sustainable transportation, Hyundai Motor made history by being the first company to mass-produce a hydrogen-powered car, the ix35 Fuel Cell. This groundbreaking vehicle operates on an electric motor fueled by a stack that converts hydrogen and oxygen from the air into electricity. By the end of 2015, over 250 ix35 Fuel Cell cars are anticipated to be traversing European roads, surpassing the combined output of all other automakers.
